Directions & Contact Information

Air: The Durango airport is approximately 30 minutes from the town of historic Durango, and one hour from Durango Mountain Resort. The drive to Durango Mountain Resort from Albuquerque, NM, airport (ABQ) is about 4 hours.

From the Durango La Plata County Airport (DRO), follow Airport Road until it reaches Highway 172 and take a left.  Follow Highway 172 until you reach Highway 160, turn left.  Follow Highway 160 until you reach the intersection with Highway 550 in front of the Doubletree Hotel, follow Highway 550 North through the town of Durango.  Drive approximately 28 miles north on Highway 550 and the entrance to the resort will be on the west side of the highway.  Purgatory Lodge is located slopeside in the village plaza.
