Happy New Year!

All of us at The Registry Collection^® program hope you had an enjoyable holiday season with your friends and family. I suspect that with the optimism a new year brings that many of you have made a few resolutions. We did as well, and I’d like to share a few of them with you.

1. More Resorts for our Members

With great anticipation we expect a number of new properties of The Registry Collection program to become operational in 2010, which means opportunities to travel to exotic new locations such as Brazil, Aruba, Thailand, Malta and Costa Rica. In the meantime, I am very excited to invite you to check out our newest open resorts with available inventory: Jimmy Johnson’s Fisherman’s Cove in the Florida Keys; Arcos Gardens Golf Club & Country Estate in Cadiz, Spain; Legacy Private Residencies Castleburn at the foothills of the southern Drakensberg mountain range in South Africa; and La Herencia Residence Club at Tres Ríos on the Riviera Maya in Mexico. Also in this issue, we highlight a fantastic new property, Magnolia Private Residence Club at Seacreast Beach on Florida’s northwest coast.

2. More alternative accommodation opportunities

Sometimes you just don’t want to use your exchange credits or you may really want to visit a place where our program doesn’t currently have inventory. You have asked us for alternative accommodation opportunities in a number of locations, especially Europe and New York City. In this newsletter we introduce you to one of our valued partners, European Villas and Manors, a collection of some of Europe’s most charming countryside rental accommodations. While members cannot use their credits to exchange at these accommodations, members do receive preferential pricing and the convenience of one-stop comparison shopping. If the excitement of New York City is your thing, read more about the newest opportunity for you at West 57th Street by Hilton Club. Members can use their credits at this property along with a few select non-Registry properties located in Aspen, Colorado, San Francisco and San Antonio, Texas among others.

3. More user-friendly website

You spend a lot of time visiting our website, doing research in advance of speaking with our talented reservation consultants. You’ve asked us to make a few tweaks and I’m happy to report these revisions are now operational. Specifically, we now update our “Sample Availability” every business day (instead of once a week), we’ve added bedding configurations to the accommodations information, and we’ve made the resort videos easier to access. Please keep those website experience suggestions coming and we’ll do our best to make the enhancements.

Like you, we are excited about what lies ahead in this New Year. We’ll do our best to listen and deliver new properties, new partners and new program enhancements to our members and hope you’ll take the time to tell us how we are doing along the way. Working together, there’s no limit to where our program can go.
